PROPHESY

The mouth is used for food or liquid intake. It is also used for intake of other edibles but the main reason God established the mouth is to prophesy. To prophesy is to create things from the lips. God used his lips to create the heaven and the earth…….Let there be light and there was light. Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters, and let the water under the heaven be gathered together in one place and let the dry land appear and it was so.(Genesis1).

All these “let”, “let” and “let” are the fruit of the lips under the spirit of prophecy. God used prophecy to create this world even you. All this were created by prophecy. Prophecy is the function of oral expression. A close mouth means a close destiny. God says if you open your mouth I will fill it with good things. What are those good things- the spirit of prophecy!

There are two ways to carry out prophecy, the positive way and the negative way. Let’s use this experiment to demonstrate the effect of these ways;

Consider two flowers of same specimen from same nursery bed planted at same time of identical maturity. Each time you go to the bed prophesy blessing to one and prophesy curses to another. Continue the process for a given period of time you will discover that the one you prophesy blessing will grow healthier than the one you prophesy curses, in fact when you continue the habit, the cursed flower will wither away. Therefore the effective use of the mouth is to prophesy not for eating and drinking.

Prophesy is to predict, to forecast or to foretell!

Jesus cursed a fig tree and the fig tree withered!

“And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard
and in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.”(Mk.11:13, 14, 20 & 21)

What was the response from Jesus Christ!

“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.”(Mk.11:22)

Prophesy is not incomplete without faith, faith is the carrier of prophesy it can’t work if you are mundane with your words. The mouth is majorly used to prophesy if there is faith in you. In some people their mouth has nothing to do with prophecy but food left and right free food and drinks most of the times. In fact some people drink to the brim and intentionally induce vomit to create allowance to drink more. How can such lips be fruitful? Tell me!

Every body has the right to prophesy. Not only for pastors or prophets, the bible says in Joel chapter 2 and verse 28 that the spirit of God will be poured upon all flesh that sons and daughters shall prophesy. Prophecy is not only for official prophets but for all that has mouth of faith.

Let’s confirm in the scripture!

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions”(Joel2:28)

Don’t wait and look Satan elude you and your family make a good use of your mouth by declaring war against him. To fight and overcome Satan is not by mundane weapon but by the weapon of prophecy. Satan is always scared of the truth since it is not of him, he goes out. Where the truth is exhibited becomes a hot zone for Satan. Therefore if you want Satan to get rid of you go for the truth, declare it and practice it.

Positive prophecy possesses the image of God. Satan will not stand where God’s image is practiced. You need to know that light and darkness cannot be exhibited in the same place at same time, however, darkness reigns where there is no light but light reigns over darkness at all time. Satan has no power over you by choice
