Every wise thinking person praying for a better tomorrow will be up to cook today to eat tomorrow, will plan for tomorrow from today and will sacrifice today for tomorrow. You wouldn’t kill today and expect to eat tomorrow. People who don’t respect their future plans are regarded as failures.
Youths are leaders of tomorrow they are to be prepared as leaders from today to become great leaders of tomorrow, they are to be groomed today to handle the greater tomorrow and they are visionaries of tomorrow’s expectations.
The Bible reveals to all and sundry that youths are vision runners. – the young ones shall see vision (Joel 2:28). To see vision means the revelation to run a purpose in creation. Youth are meant to locate and run their purposes to become great leaders of tomorrow. However, leadership is a general term that demonstrates a general field of human endevours such as leadership of industries, leadership in political settings, and leadership in religious organization and so on.
Africa as a sovereign state have suffered disadvantage of social and economic system development for a very long period of time. What is the root cause? Proper preparation today enhances effective tomorrow, while improper preparation today renders tomorrow ineffective. Lack of industrial standard in Africa is caused by unpreparedness which is difficult for reconstruction. – This is close to an analogy of impossibility for a ripen plantain to reverse to green, except it takes the grace of almighty from heaven to do! Likewise, it is impossible to prepare today for yesterday.
The words of prayer should be our watch worth, notwithstanding, the almighty God our portal can stand for us. if and only if you want an effective tomorrow prepare the youth today to face tomorrows challenges that is, the challenges we have in Africa today is because the youth of yesterday were not prepared to face the challenges of today.
It is time for African to wake up from their slumber to inculcate the driving force of development to stir up the hidden talents in youths which will in turn develop youths to prosperity and church growth in Africa and the world at large. “African renaissance” should be a strong motto for all facets of African youth’s status.
How can African prepare the youths for tomorrow’s development? One of the spring-boards of activities to enhance development in Africa is to provide Technical or mechatronic or Vocational Education across all levels of education in Africa with gross downsizing of tuition fee or an express scholarship to African youths less privileged.
